hot town

Big city living in my small town...I moved into my new loft digs downtown palousetown. (franny and orange kitty helping pack the car here) slowly slowly getting things together.

heat wave = sitting in the river all afternoon = getting less accomplished = that's ok.
And these are so much fantastic fun to print!!!!

soil show (seattle puzzle installation) comes down today.

red book

new book project....I have been playing with piecing leather...well, that's what I am calling it when I carve out (gently) layers from book covers and place leather pieces in so they are flush with the cover board surface. here are some scans...and lot's more over at flickr.
these book projects are generally to store quotes-quips-reflections from current novels. red book here happened while I was finishing Annie Dilliard's teaching a stone to talk and cutting up a found book on historic map-making methods.
