itching for some travelin adventures....hopefully headed to chief timothy park and the big river this weekend before the bluegrass festival and before sunday when we aim towards to seattle to install at soil. yes. yes. yes. I do love these warm months.

red book

new book project....I have been playing with piecing leather...well, that's what I am calling it when I carve out (gently) layers from book covers and place leather pieces in so they are flush with the cover board surface. here are some scans...and lot's more over at flickr.

these book projects are generally to store quotes-quips-reflections from current novels. red book here happened while I was finishing Annie Dilliard's teaching a stone to talk and cutting up a found book on historic map-making methods.

this was printed way back in april. I'm not sure I shared about this yet, but the tour has been happening and it just happened right here in palouse on friday. so so special.

anyhow----attention all west coasters: these amazing musical folks are headed your way.
